Grassello
Grassello is a natural, lime-based Venetian polished plaster — the glossiest finish in the Marmorino family. Made from aged slaked lime and selected marble powders, it is applied by hand with a steel trowel in three fine coats, building a smooth, luminous surface with soft marble-like depth and the visible movement of the trowel.
Because it is mineral and lime-based, Grassello is naturally breathable and mould-resistant, and can be tinted to almost any colour with lime-compatible pigments. The result is an elegant, mirror-smooth wall with the timeless character of polished Italian plaster.
Where it's used
Grassello is ideal for interior feature walls and refined living spaces — hallways, lounges, bedrooms and reception areas — wherever a luminous, mirror-smooth marble effect is wanted. Its breathable, naturally anti-mould composition also makes it a healthy choice for everyday residential interiors. It is intended for interior walls; for continuously wet areas such as showers, a dedicated waterproof system is recommended.
